HelpLive focuses on meeting needs of children who are at risk because of global socio-political issues or events. We resettle them in secure and familial environments. Currently, we are working with displaced children of Karen ethnicity at the border of Thailand and Myanmar. These children have escaped the on-going ethnic strife in Myanmar with hopes of a safer life.
We provide them health care, housing, and education. Our healthcare services include medical, dental, and vision screenings. We help run schools that provide primary education to these children. Our goal is to sponsor and train more teachers to teach basic life and social skills as well as professional and entrepreneurship skills.
We are committed to providing these children opportunities to start their own businesses so that they can sustain themselves and support their communities. We also mobilize local people, create awareness, and provide serving opportunities for them. We organize volunteer teams from around the world to serve these children for varying periods of time.
We are committed to expanding our activities to eastern parts of India by 2017.
